The City of Frederick is not Annapolis and has no navigable waters that lead to the sea. But you can rent a kayak or paddleboat or canoe and go the length of the park that straddles the Carroll Creek through downtown. As part of First Saturday, a few folks were taking to the water while most strolled the steets. (More First Saturday scenes will appear this coming week on Lew's Other Pic's.)

Looks too neat and pretty and tame. Give me the wilderness!
At least it does add something interesting to the city and most of them can always use that! Great shots!
