Reflections - Strange and distorted

This is an image from February 2009 taken in the late afternoon. The bright spot is the reflection of the setting sun. The sky and bare trees are reflected. And the big eyes staring at you are the turn signal bulb and its reflection (front right of our van).

Reflections - in Frederick windows

Last Saturday I wandered down town during the First Saturday celebration and snapped some pictures of windows. Many came with reflections of the scene across the street. Above is a shot of an antique store window showing some furniture and a mirror. It yielded a nicely framed reflection of the photographer (that's me) in the lower left. Below is a shot of one of the offices across the street from the Post Office.

Old cars - 1930 Chevrolet

1930 Chevrolet and 1928 Ford

It was First saturday in Frederick last weekend and the Francis Scott Key Antique Car Club had some its oldies on display. Above is a 1928 Model A Ford and a 1930 Chevrolet Touring car. The other pictures are of the Chevrolet. Notice anything unusual about the car? Answer is at the end of the post.

Radiator cap

Trunk

The owner told me this Chevy was built in Australia for driving on the left side of the road. The owner told me he is okay with sitting on the right to drive as long as he drives the car regularly.
