Day 76 - Tree by the road

Marianne wanted to photograph horses today, so we wandered around some of the back roads near us. The cows were out, but the horses were in the barns or somewhere else. Near where she spotted the llamas, I stopped to take this picture of a solitary tree and the road ahead. A few miles further down this road we found the horses.

I loke the colors and the composition of this shot! It has a lonely, but strong feel to it.

I like the pink in the sky, a little like it is clinging to the branches.

It makes me wish the tree could talk and tell us about all the things it has witnessed throughout its life. :)

Dare I say that photo makes it look like Spring might be trying to work it's way into your corner of the world?
