Day 62 - Bonus

On Feb. 7 I posted a series of sky pictures. I used my wide angle zoom set around 18mm to capture the clouds during the course of the day. The next to the last picture was taken shortly before sunset looking east. The sun shining under the clouds lit up a farm and the hills beyond. Later I cropped the picture to get this scene:
Today (actually yesterday as I post) I went back to the same spot (as the sun was setting) with my telephoto lens set at 200mm and took this shot (uncropped) of the same farm: Quite a difference those 182mm make!

Ohhh... hills... I miss hills. All we have down here is flat flat flat.

You're right about the big difference, Lew. I just bought a 300mm lens - I'm delighted!
