Verified Words - 22-nd Edition
Verified Words are new words created by blogger to test our ability to decipher strange fonts (and foil the spammers). Occasionally, blogger provides a real word when I comment on your blogs. I am posting new editions in place of "Odd Shots" for a while. I am including some double word phrases that have appeared recently on blogger. They are harder to "spoof" than the single words and also give dictionary.com and wikipedia problems. This time I have the phrase as it appeared.
Here are three more of my definitions along with the suggestions of dictionary.com and wikipedia. First edition was posted as Round 1. Today's words:
djkpbere
dictionary.com - NOT a word, suggested "emulge".
wikipedia - NOT a word, suggested "dupere".
Lew's definition: dj-kp-bere - One-man pub worker.
quethru
dictionary.com - NOT a word, suggested "jethro".
wikipedia - NOT a word, no suggestion.
Lew's definition: que-thru - to break in line at the lunch counter.

Verified words? - 21-st edition
They are harder to "spoof" than the single words and also give dictionary.com and wikipedia problems. since wikipedia is a worldwide resource, it often finds names of people and/or places. "Kolachal" (see below) is a port town on the southern tip of India (also spelled "Colachal").
Here are three more of my definitions along with the suggestions of dictionary.com and wikipedia. First edition was posted as Round 1. Today's words:

PhotoShop - Karma Kitty
About a month ago I liked the early morning the sun was casting shadows across the room and I tried a few shots. The results were not to my liking so I added Mariane's Karma Kitty. Still not a spectacular shot so I did not post it. Recently, I decided to try some more PhotoShopping. The above image has brightness and contrast. The image below has glowing edges applied.

Odd Shots - Cat in the box
Couldn't resist bringing you this odd shot. Marianne was sorting through the contents of this drawer and Buster climbed right in. (with apologies to Dr. Seuss).

Reflections - Old man and windmill
The rear view mirror after I park in our driveway. The silhouette sculpture has provided many photo-ops, especially when snow is falling.
