Shopping stop

Yesterday was a nice day for a drive, so we visited the IKEA in Baltimore to picked up some items for the house. We found most of the items on Marianne's list, had Swedish meatballs for dinner in the IKEA cafe, and caught the sunset as we were leaving.

I think I am the only person in the world who has never been to an Ikea.

Your IKEA is a much nicer construction than the one we have here. "Ours" looks like a left-over bunker from WW2.

Hi Lew,

Thank you for visiting my site. My teacher, now in her 70s is an incredible woman. She has to be to choose to teach as a single woman in Borneo in the 60s.

There is no IKEA in NZ, but in Singapore, people like shopping there. The furniture is cheap, but they can't dismantle them and assemble them again.

Did you watch the Amazing Race, where if I remember correctly, they were in Sweden, in an Ikea store.

You must have fun playing with your nice toys aka cameras. I really would like a camera that I can take close-up and night time photos. Meanwhile I am happy with my little canon A530, good enough for my general blogging.

I have been to Eastern US and California. But not recently. Shall love to go again for my son who wants to go to Disney land because his sisters had been.

Good chatting with you.

Cheers,

Ann
p/s Have you been to New Zealand?

quilly,

There are 4 million New Zealander who have not been to Ikea as well. They are talking about opening one in Auckland.
