When I went out this morning, the buds on our cherry trees were turning pink. After dinner, with the sun setting, some were popping open. I'm looking forward to what tomorrow brings!

What a difference a day makes, indeed! Lovely.
Oh, they're beautiful, Lew! Such beautiful color! Can't wait to see what you find tomorrow.
Hit the nail on the head, Lew. Well done!
Gosh, those are pretty! What a stunning color!!
I wish.
I wish our old cherry tree was still standing tall.
Hurricane Ike blew all the way up to Ohio and knocked my old cherry tree down.
I miss it.
The birds miss it.
It offered a spot of shade.
And the flowers and the fruit are gone forever.
I admire your photography.
Your cherry blossoms are so beautiful. This is such a fun time of year.
Spring is bursting forth with new life at a rapid pace. Your pretty cherry blossoms illustrate it well.
Amazing blooms, Lew! :)
Things are moving fast at this time of the year - and that is what is sp fascinating about it. Comgrats with the mention at David's!
These pics perfectly illustrate my poem, Thanks!
Spring Panoply
Bunched on slim stalks,
tight furled buds dangle
puckered rosy lips
offering a kiss of welcome.
Canopies blush beauty;
fallen petals a pink tidemark
outlining ebb and flow
of capricious night winds.
Matching ruffle-edged flounce,
adrift alongside wall or path,
softens harsh perimeters
with flower-strewn edging.
Spring's light brushstrokes
overlay winter's canvas,
producing a composition
of pristine clarity.
Beautiful images - timed shots are just lovely, xv.
Gorgeous! Truly terrific shots! Good for you for ceasing the day!!! Congrats on POTD...very well-deserved!
