Oh, what fun!! Beautiful shot! It's cold here in Seattle, too. In fact it's been snowing/sleeting for much of the morning! Happy April Fool's Day anyway!
Great April Fool's joke! I thought perhaps you'd dialed the color temperature on your camera down as low as it would go to cool this off, but I'm not sure you could cool it down that much with white balance alone.
I hadn't thought about the visibility aspect of the 5-window cab, but it makes perfect sense. Except for the optical distortion in the curved glass which may or may not have been a problem, it's a near perfect solution and without giving up much (if anything) in the way of structural integrity in the roof either.

I began this blog in 2008 after I retired. My main interest is photography and so most posts will contain photos, along with brief comments or explanations. I participate in several weekly blogs and occasionally post my own recurring themes. Occasionally I throw in comments, kudos or complaints about the world situation. I am retired, married to a smart, talented lady who once thought we computer people were geeks and now is one of us geeks. I have a long time interest in photography. We live in Maryland, about 50 miles from Washington, DC.
My main camera is a Nikon D3100 with two zoom lenses (18-55 and 55-200).

I love the ethereal glow -- like daffodils from Saturn!
Great photo-editing! That blue glows! :)
