We took the grandsons to Longhorn steakhouse for dinner last night and as we were leaving, Chris said "Whoa! Look at that!" and disappeared across the parking lot. He soon yelled "Poppaw, get your camera!" So I did and went to see what had caught his interest. There sat a Boss Hoss motorcycle powered by a 502 cubic inch, water-cooled, Chevy V8. Chris recently got his driver's license, and is itching for a set of wheels. But I think he is going to have to settle for the old pickup - that is once he and his Dad get it running again.

I began this blog in 2008 after I retired. My main interest is photography and so most posts will contain photos, along with brief comments or explanations. I participate in several weekly blogs and occasionally post my own recurring themes. Occasionally I throw in comments, kudos or complaints about the world situation. I am retired, married to a smart, talented lady who once thought we computer people were geeks and now is one of us geeks. I have a long time interest in photography. We live in Maryland, about 50 miles from Washington, DC.
My main camera is a Nikon D3100 with two zoom lenses (18-55 and 55-200).

A V-8 caught my eye too. That must have cost the guy or gal a pretty penny.
