Reflections - Railroad bridge

This railroad bridge is upstream from the Monocacy Aqueduct. This reflection was taken standing in the middle of the aqueduct.

Hosted by James at Weekend reflections.

bravo! The reflection makes it seem that a giant post is penetrating the water.

Very nice - the man made reflected back in nature. Hard shot to get since that bridge is so high - but I love that the bridge and not just the post shows up in the water!

Lovely reflection. It makes for a good "I" or is that eye?

Very pretty. I can't think of any above ground aqueducts either in Connecticut or in Florida.

My image today was on South Carolina Route 17. I had visited my cousin near Myrtle Beach and decided to drive quieter roads, because I was not in a hurry. This shot is somewhere near Beaufort.

Lew,
Thanks for this perspective on the bridge. When I travel through your state, I am always a little disturbed and unsure of the way the electronic dude who is the voice of my GPS pronounces Monocacy. I would love to know for sure which syllable gets the emphasis. I am always blown away by how lush and beautiful this area is--and how undisturbed by the noise of urban life not so far away that it is.
