Maryland is widening I70 through Frederick. Above is the new interchange with MD 355 and 85, as well as a new road into the eastern side of the city. Below is the Market Street bridge. The north-bound side, which will span an already widen section of I70, is under construction. The south-bound side is shown and carries two-way traffic now. Market Street it self is only two lanes shortly after this bridge, so don't expect a quick trip through the city.

We just had some road widening in our area. I took shots during and after. Now that it's complete, I am really glad I took the "during" ones :)
Thanks for your comments Stacy. I drove past this construction 5 days a week for a long time, before stopping to take some pictures. I have some other pictures that follow construction that I will eventually dig out and post.
