Autos - Golden Gears Car Club

1936 Chrysler Airflow (modified!)

The members of the Golden Gears Car Club of Frederick brought their autos to town last Saturday. The club sponsors events for charity and participates in other events like Frederick's First Saturday. But mainly they have a passion for American automobiles of all types and ages. Some of the cars are restored, some modified (both bodies and engines), and some maintained in original condition. Here are some shots of a few of these beautiful traveling machines.

Day 194 - A little blue nostalgia

Up until about 15 years ago, I played in the company softball league - a few very good players, some average and the rest of us. We had a couple of hours of fun, got a little exercise and enjoyed a couple of beers after work. The blue hat and can holder (for soda these days) I still use for working in the yard (and painting). The glove has been stashed away in the basement, except for a few times playing catch with the older grandsons.
