- I am retired, married to a smart, talented lady who once thought we computer people were geeks and now is one of us geeks. I have a long time interest in photography. We've had wind and rain - all day today here.
Oh, terrific shots, Lew! We've had a little of all of it in the past week.
I got all excited this morning because the sun was shining, but before I get dressed, grab the camera and head outdoors, the clouds rolled in again and we're back to gray!
Ah well, tis the season!

Lovely story you have described for us here, Lew. I love the shape of the droplets in your final image, but my favourite is the middle one. Touches me deeply.
Wind and rain together form a perfect union in your picture, I like the way the tree branch and the lantern post seem to reflect each other.
Are these the Blue Ridge Mountains in the background of the middle image?
