Frederick Airport does not have commercial service, but it does have business jets and smaller aircraft. The AOPA has offices here. The September 11 restrictions on aircraft in the Washington, DC area increased traffic at Frederick and other further out airports.

this is a neat picture, not one that I can imagine getting where I live - and that makes me like it even more.
