In search of a winter scene for Marianne's Project 365+1, we headed north on the backroads of Frederick County. Did not find much of a winter picture, but found this circa 1900 stone arch bridge over the Monacacy River. It is a two lane, 250 foot long bridge 50 feet above the river. The bridge has 5 arches, though only 4 are seen in this photo. It is one of several historic bridges in frederick County.
