Very pretty reflections. No, the trees in my post will never sprout anything again. They, and the whole forest in that area (over 14,000 acres and almost 500 homes), were completely destroyed by the wildfire. Eventually they'll fall. There is new growth sprouting from the ground, but it will be decades before the area has live trees of that size again.

I began this blog in 2008 after I retired. My main interest is photography and so most posts will contain photos, along with brief comments or explanations. I participate in several weekly blogs and occasionally post my own recurring themes. Occasionally I throw in comments, kudos or complaints about the world situation. I am retired, married to a smart, talented lady who once thought we computer people were geeks and now is one of us geeks. I have a long time interest in photography. We live in Maryland, about 50 miles from Washington, DC.
My main camera is a Nikon D3100 with two zoom lenses (18-55 and 55-200).
