Found this little spider sunning itself on our van window. Got its shadow and reflection as well as a reflection of the sky with one press of the shutter.

I began this blog in 2008 after I retired. My main interest is photography and so most posts will contain photos, along with brief comments or explanations. I participate in several weekly blogs and occasionally post my own recurring themes. Occasionally I throw in comments, kudos or complaints about the world situation. I am retired, married to a smart, talented lady who once thought we computer people were geeks and now is one of us geeks. I have a long time interest in photography. We live in Maryland, about 50 miles from Washington, DC.
My main camera is a Nikon D3100 with two zoom lenses (18-55 and 55-200).

Terrific capture and reflection, Lew!! Your photos get better by the day!! Enjoy your weekend!
What a great eye! I would only have seen the spider and wanted to chase it off! Very nice photo!
That guy has some looonggg legs!
Spiders are fascinating critters. It's been said that we are never more than 8 feet from one. Your photo with reflection is great.
Thanks for visiting my little blog. Come back often. I shoot what catches my eye.
That's kind of creepy but very cool!
