What a great reflection, Lew! And I love the leaves! After all the wind we've had lately, most of the leaves here are gone. Fortunately, I live in an area filled with evergreens, so I don't lose all the color! Enjoy the remainder of your holiday weekend -- sometimes it's nice to have a quiet one as you and your wife did this year!
Is that a real reflection? Amazing! I hope you had a great Thanksgiving!
By the way, do you remember Mary's Window Views... and Doors, Too meme? I really miss it, and I'm thinking of starting up a new, similar one. Would you be interested in participating? Feel free to leave a comment on my blog - I just proposed the idea, here: http://iwishiwereaphotographer.blogspot.com/2011/11/shadow-shot-windchimes-and-question.html I'd love to have you on board! I hope you don't mind my writing to you here - I couldn't find a contact email for you on any of your sites! All the best, -toby

I began this blog in 2008 after I retired. My main interest is photography and so most posts will contain photos, along with brief comments or explanations. I participate in several weekly blogs and occasionally post my own recurring themes. Occasionally I throw in comments, kudos or complaints about the world situation. I am retired, married to a smart, talented lady who once thought we computer people were geeks and now is one of us geeks. I have a long time interest in photography. We live in Maryland, about 50 miles from Washington, DC.
My main camera is a Nikon D3100 with two zoom lenses (18-55 and 55-200).

You found art where most would see nothing. Lovely.
So unusual and beautiful!
You had a great holiday with the grands?
Nice one. Love the way this meme makes all look at things just a little differently.
Good one! Love the leaves reflected with it!
Exceptionnel. Tout y est, sujet, couleur et ... reflet ! Bravo !
