As I finished cutting the grass last week, this cat bird landed on the mower to catch a ride (or maybe just to look for dinner). It must have a nest near our shed and has no fear of people, hopping down and walking within a few feet of me. For more "Odd Shots" visit Katney's Kaboodle.

Had to Google Cat Bird Lew, never heard that name before.
Sounds if they give a pretty sound and love the edge of woods,water,thickets and such.

Hmmm, makes one wonder the origin of the expression "the cat bird seat." Gonna have to look that one up.
