Autos - Little yellow car

Imac, a British blogger whose photography and humor I thoroughly enjoy, posted as his header this week a "retro" lotus. That reminded me that I had shot a more recent vintage Lotus here in Frederick last August. My grandson was the first to spot it as we were walking down Market St. and he had to have a closer look. I ask the gentleman in the above shot if he was going to get his checkbook to make an offer for this vehicle, but he (as I) said it is out of his price range. We also agreed that at our age, the knees don't allow us to sit that low while driving. Imac, this one is for you!

Reflections - Two for Friday

On February 1 we had a little freezing rain and sleet, rsulting in a silvery coating on the headlight of our van.

Odd Shots - Buster's pillows

Buster likes to snooze with his head on something, usually the pillows on the couch. Last week I caught him using these two odd objects for pillows.

Reflections - Bright sparkles

While in Baker Park in early February, I took this image of the sun reflecting off Carroll Creek. The bright sparkling reflected sun gave a very high contrast, turning the surface of the water black. This image was also used in PhotoHunt on my other blog.

Patterns - Diagonal lines

This shot was taken early morning January 21. There are only a few days a year when the sun reaches the far corner of our family room, illuminating the rug with a warm glow and some contrasting shadows.
