I am retired, married to a smart, talented lady who once thought we computer people were geeks and now is one of us geeks. I have a long time interest in photography. We live in Maryland, about 50 miles from Washington, DC.
My main camera is a Nikon D3100 with two zoom lenses (18-55 and 55-200).

that reflection really does stand out in the middle of of muted colors. Very nice...
An interesting reflection. It's spotlighting the roses. And aren't you a wonderful guy for giving roses on Valentine's Day!
I agree with Pat, the reflection does stand out!! Beautiful! And such lovely flowers as well! Have a wonderful weekend, Lew!

Nicely done. It almost looks like a light is shining down from above.
Love the art-glass vases and particularly those Valentine roses... good guy!
Interesting reflection with your flash!

Looks like you've been rewarded with a neat photo for being such a nice guy! :)
Fabulous, Lew. A picture like this is worth a thousand words of love on Valentine's Day.

Bouh, le vilain prétexte pour montrer que vous avez offert des roses à votre Valentine, vous !
I was just kidding : the decoration on those vases is amazing, and I think Marianne was so lucky to get some (roses) on Valentine's Day...
I'm even jealous.
A little bit.
:D
