Today I spent a good bit of time looking up to water seal the pergola over our deck. And then more time looking down to seal the deck. A couple of times, I spotted hawks soaring just above the trees as I was on a ladder and my camera was in the house. After I finished, I took a coke and my camera and sat on Marianne's bench to relax and get a photo for today. Lo and behold, the hawks returned. They were doing a large figure 8, soaring out in different direction and returning close to each other. Eventually, they flew off in different directions. The photo below is from Sunday. I decided to get a shot of the cloud formations and noticed 3 hawks soaring very high. Usually they stay 50 feet or so above the trees.
